I'm back...had to replace my old faithful MAC with a new one, which arrived today...that has slowed my painting time...seems that doing business now interferes with time spent at the easel. Also spent some time packing up my painting equipment and supplies to ship to NC for the paint out April 11. That is a big ordeal since paints aren't always recognized as safe things to pack in luggage for an airplane nowadays. I now think twice about art trips that involve flying. Shipping is not cheap and once we are required to have only 1 suitcase it will be another added expense, which I will be forced to add to the cost of my artwork. The economy affects art too.
