Why Buy Art ?
Original Art is an expense many people feel is extravagant and unnecessary. You can get large stretched photos mounted on canvas that are colorful, you can find reproductions everywhere for a lot less money than an original ( until you frame it). Tricia Bass, an artist friend, made such a wonderful statement that I must share with you: she said that buying a painting is like buying a bouquet of flowers for oneself. It brings you pleasure. I would have to add that an original painting is like a bouquet of real flowers.
Unlike a bouquet that you eventually have to throw away, the painting continues to bring you pleasure. " In the Pink",oil, 8"x10".Amy Evans
I have often been told that my paintings are happy and make the viewer feel good. Another good reason to collect original art!
