"First Dusting", 12"x16", oil. $695.
I am in the midst of chairing a national juried exhibition to be held in Denver, CO in Feb 2009. WAOW is entering the 21st century by using an online jurying system, which a lot of art shows are beginning to do...it means no more slide submissions. Everything is being done digitally. This is a huge learning curve for a lot of artists. The one thing that keeps coming up is that we don't read directions carefully...Is this because of the short attention spans due to the constant birage of media and multi-tasking? I am fielding questions of all sorts in relation to this show and most of them could have been answered by just carefully reading the information. Do you think that this is because of the current world...or are we just in a hurry?
